The Haining Care Home

Improving Everyday Life

The Haining care home provides 24hr care in a warm, welcoming and safe environment.

Facilities

The Haining care home is an original Georgian mansion house retaining a wealth of historical features whilst offering the convenience of the 21st century such as wi-fi, sonos systems and iPads. Set amongst acres of beautiful private gardens in a quiet area of Maddiston. The care home has been fully adapted to support the physical, mental and social needs of older adults.

Our residents are encouraged to personalise the spacious and homely bedrooms as their own.

The Haining has four elegant and traditionally decorated communal areas: the library, front parlour, music room and grand dining room with floor to ceiling windows. Designed for socialising, all four rooms allow the residents and visitors to enjoy the views of the stunning landscape surrounding the care home.

Our in-house cook prepares healthy and nutritional home cooked meals and baking daily which the residents can enjoy in our dining room or in a room of their choice.

Our events co-ordinator is also based within the care home and hosts a varied and extensive number of activities including exercise sessions, arts and crafts, mentally and cognitively stimulating games and social activities which the residents can take part in.

Our residents are also actively involved in their local community and often attend local clubs, lunch groups and events.

Our Commitment to you

All our staff appreciate and strive to ensure that The Haining is home for our residents, who are of varied ages, abilities, beliefs and backgrounds.

We share a common vision of providing our residents with a comfortable and caring environment, with as many as possible comforts, pleasures, rights and privileges as they would have when living in their own home.

We view each resident who lives at The Haining as a complete individual whose dignity, self-respect and self-awareness are protected, promoted and encouraged at all times.

We accept that no matter what care we provide, we cannot replace the concern, commitment and love of family, friends and loved ones that have been built up over a person’s lifetime. We therefore very much welcome and indeed encourage family and loved one’s presence and participation, ideas and suggestions.

Respite care is a service available at The Haining Care Home, which provides short term breaks from the challenges of caring for an elderly, chronically ill or disabled family member and can relieve stress, restore energy and promote balance in everyday life. To find out more information about our respite service, contact The Haining Care Home.
