We Offer:

Self Directed Support – What is this?

Self Directed Support Scotland Act 2013 was introduced in 2014 as the Scottish Government believes everyone should be in control of their life. If you currently receive a care package you are entitled to Self Directed Support and an assessment for this. There are 4 options you can choose from which are listed below you can chose who provides care to you or your loved one. There is more information available on this through your local authority.

  1. Direct Payment (a cash payment);
  2. Funding allocated to a provider of your choice (sometimes called an individual service fund, where the council holds the budget but the person is in charge of how it is spent);
  3. The council can arrange a service for you; or
  4. You can choose a mix of these options for different types of support.

Hourly Home Care – We understand that your loved one may require some help and assistance at certain times of the day. We can accommodate this by organising for carers to visit for shorter periods of time to provide them support with the tasks they can no longer manage.

Welcome Home Service – We appreciate that it can be difficult carrying out daily tasks after returning home from a stay in hospital following an operation or recent illness. Therefore, we can provide carers who will work with our supported individuals encouraging reablement  and promoting independence in order for them to return to their own maximum functioning level.

Private Arrangements– Are you concerned for your loved one? Are you going on holiday and would like someone to pop in? Do you have personal anxieties for your loved ones well being? We understand how important your loved one is to you and therefore we offer a tailor made and personalised service on a short or long term basis. This could be anything from ensuring they have eaten that day or checking in to ensure their safety and wellbeing. We offer a number of private arrangements and would be delighted to provide support.
